This is my stockhouse for art and other odds and ends. I have a strong love for adventure, the unexplained and surprises. I believe in a higher cause and a bigger picture. I think that each person has their own journey and I’m sending nothing but good vibes to you on your way. Thanks for stopping by!
Hello, welcome to my site.
I am an artist and arts educator based in Los Angeles. For years I've worked with non-profits as a youth arts coordinator and instructor. I worked with an arts-based learning center in Cambodia as their communications director. I was an art director at Boys and Girls Club for youth with a diverse set of needs. I helped develop youth arts programming at a grassroots community arts organization in Los Angeles. I also volunteered as an arts instructor at an emergency group home for immigrant youth as well as a charter school for teens in the juvenile justice system. I am currently pursuing training in art therapy to work with youth and arts in more informed and directed way.
As a freelance artist working in and around the greater Los Angeles area, I’ve created wall coverings and murals, illustration (often maps), and lead workshops in sketching and repurposed art. You can find my murals all over southern California. In the last few years, I’ve created two pieces over 3000 sq ft each, depicting national parks in colorful graphic style.
Before focusing on murals, I worked in 3D costuming and art direction. My work was featured on the front pages of iTunes and at the global TEDX conference as well as in concerts and shows throughout Europe and Russia.
I was trained at Pratt Institute in New York, but grew up in the Appalachian foothills of Virginia. In my happiest moments, I am on the move in some remote corner of the world, exploring, drawing or rock climbing, often with my husband, little boy and our family and friends.
“We shall not cease from exploration,
and at the end of all our exploring
we will arrive where we started
and know that place for the first time.”
