Blueprints Highlights
For most of the murals I’ve painted or had printed, I have also done the design work, creating blueprints that I then use to partition off the walls for painting.
Map Highlights
Client Main Place, Orange County. Map is 30 x 14 feet and depicts historical, cultural and active attractions in Orange County.
Not so fun fact, even though the California flag features a grizzly bear, we haven’t had them since 1908 when the last bear was killed by rancher/beekeepers in the hills of Orange County. The Holy Jim Trail is named after one of the trappers who liked expletives, hence the name Holy.

I’ve created a growing collection of t-shirt designs for different climbing events in Southern California.
Editorial & Infograph Design
Communication Design is all about relaying information in the most succinct, engaging and efficient way possible. Infographs in a nutshell. I always enjoy the challenge.
A large part of my training in illustration was based on editorial work. There is something very satisfying about seeing work in print. This section is under construction.
Scientific Design
Part of what draws me to scientific illustration is the element of research involved. Through the process of comparing information and understanding the complexities of a subject, there is constant fuel for our curiosity.
SCIENTIFIC ILLUSTRATIONS
I have always enjoyed drawing from the natural world. However, just recently I've started applying this using more graphic software.
The detailed cartography that I have done has given me an appreciation for accuracy, attention to detail and nuance. All important elements in scientific illustration
In traditional illustration, the focus is on storytelling. Scientific illustration similarly strives to convey information simply and concisely.
Tutorial Animation
Illustrations were used in college courses to teach biology students how to use micropipettes for lab experiments.
