It will be a nice backyard wedding, but keep in mind we will have some scrumptious BBQ afterward. It could get messy. It's your choice. (Peter said he may wear shoes, he's not sure yet)
In November it can get a little chilly at night. You may want to bring a jacket for the evening. As well, the sidewalks are steep, uneven and there is a lot of grass, you may want to wear flat shoes (as opposed to high heels).
Dinner:
BBQ, BBQ, BBQ!!!! We will have a selection of good ol' fashion BBQ meats. There will be some delicious sides and veggie options. Refreshments will include some good stuff to wet your whistle.
Thank you, but no registry or gifts necessary.

Snow Safety
For those of you who don't know how we first met, we connected on extremedating.com. Just kidding, we met during an avalanche training course in 2017. An appropriate setting for two people who love to explore the mountains. By coincidence we happened to run into each other in the sierras a few months later and made plans to climb together. Our first real date was a multi-day climbing and back-country skiing adventure in which we lived out of the car. Our first night out we stayed up watching the stars and talking nearly until dawn. This pretty much summed up our whole trip: ski, climb, and deep conversations. On this trip Peter made his big move and held Missy's thumb in his hand while they fell asleep under the Sierra night sky. This is the beginning of what has become the biggest adventure in our lives. Peter knew fairly early that he had found a special partner who is kind, generous, and loving. Missy knew she found the one when Peter dug her a poop pit on a climbing trip to the Sierra (For those that don't know poop must be buried at least 6 inches underground in the back-country). We have been fortunate enough to adventure all over the west. These adventures have included laughs, love, endurance, perseverance, smelly feet, days on end without showering, and hard moments much like life. We have been able to teach and learn from one another important life skills, such as climbing and skiing and probably some others. Our relationship continues to grow as we support, nurture, and love one another through this trippy adventure called life.
